Baillieu Chardonnay (2019) – This cool climate chardonnay shows aromas of nectarines with nutty oak characters. Whole-bunch pressed, the wine retains a delicacy & freshness that lingers on the tropical mid palate.
Willow Creek Chardonnay (2019) – Citrus aromas of grapefruit and yuzu, with subtle hints of grilled nuts and oyster shell. A distinct creaminess complements the fresh, citrus-tinged acidity. Flavours mirror the nose, with mineral complexity building on the finish. A tightly-structured wine, with satisfying length and power.
Kerri Greens Pig Face Chardonnay (2020) – A delightful new-age MP Chardonnay with a crisp citrus flavour, balanced beautifully with an oak finish. This is one of our go-to Chardonnays, we love it with an afternoon cheese platter!
Paringa Peninsula Chardonnay (2019) – The nose has delicate stone fruit aromas of white peach, with a hint of citrus. The palate has lively acidity, vibrant fruit and a textured palate. The finish is fresh and linear.
Scorpo Aubaine Chardonnay (2019) – Golden pale straw. White peach, juicy Pakenham pears, granny smith apples and spice on the nose. The palate starts lean and tight with tastes of lemon/grapefruit opening to more generous melon with vanilla undertones. Fine chalky finish.
Montalto Pennon Hill Chardonnay (2020) – Lemon and lime sherbet, white peach, chalk and slate, apple blossom, together with some roasted almonds and hazelnuts. There’s some brioche and gentle oak aromas just to round out the package.
